I Have Never Been on an Airplane, a film by Redon Kika had been supported by QKK (Kosovo
Cinematography Center). The feature documentary is a continuation of the short film under the
same title that centers around three characters from Kosovo, Jeta Veseli, Tringa Sefedini and
Atdhe Behluli who have never been outside of the Balkan borders due to visa liberalization
issues in Kosovo and consequently have never been on an airplane. The film will begin shooting
in January and is expected to finish filming by the end of the year 2022.
The short version of the film was part of Dokufest’s National Program, competed in Euro Film
Fest, Mladinski Film Festival, Guangzhou International Film Festival, Camera Zizanio, had a
special screening in Winterthur Film Festival and was screened in Chertluedde, Berlin.
